Green Line launches double-decker bus service on Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar, Dhaka-Sylhet routes.
The wait for a lavish bus journey on Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar and Dhaka-Sylhet routes is over, with Green Line Paribahan Ltd launching a new double-decker bus service.
Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan inaugurated the service at a ceremony at Rajarbagh headquarters of the private transport company, in Dhaka on Tuesday.
Lawmaker Sagufta Yasmin Emily and Shahjalal Islami Bank Chairman Akkas Uddin Mollah also attended the program chaired by Green Line Paribahan Ltd Managing Director Mohammad Alauddin.

One-way fare for each passenger travelling between Dhaka and Sylhet is Tk1,200 and the fare for travelling on the Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar route is Tk2,000.
Facilities provided for passengers include complementary food and free WiFi services.
Last year, the company launched a double-decker deluxe bus service on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway with ten brand-new buses made in Germany by automaker MAN Truck & Bus Deutschland GmbH.
Green Line is a family-owned transport company specialising in passenger bus services since 1990. It introduced country’s first air-conditioned bus service.
