Kalyan-Moushumi in New Avatar
For this upcoming Eid, Kalyan Corraya and Moushumi Hamid will be seen playing the role of a pickpocket and maid, in a tele-film entitled “Lailinama”.
The screenplay is adapted from Andalib Rashid’s novel “Lailinama” by Barun Shankar and directed by Dilip Karmakar Mishu.
The tele-film depicts the story of Tota Miya, a pickpocket, who becomes a murderer. Laili on the other hand, is a maid and as the plot develops, becomes romantically involved with Tota Miya. The story ends with laughter and fun.
“This is, for the first time, I am playing a conman and it has been lots of fun.” said Corraya. Moushumi added, “I enjoyed working on this tele-film immensely, even though I found my character a challenging one.”
