Habibul Bashar Sumon

Habibul Bashar Sumon (born August 17​​, 1972, Ambikapur, Faridpur district), former captain of Bangladesh national cricket team and the successful Test batsman. His full name is Kazi Habibul Bashar. Atahara Ali Khan (born: February 10, 1962)

Early Life
South-East Asian Cup 1984 to be played in Bangladesh. After a year at the three-day match against Sri Lanka took part. Khaled Masud Pilot

Khaled Masud Pilot was the best wicket-keeper in Bangladesh Cricket team. He was also second Test captain of Bangladesh. Once Khaled Mahmud took over as captain, Mashud concentrated on his game and developing the Rajshahi divisional cricket team in the domestic first-class competition. He was successful in reviving his native division’s cricketing fortunes, helping create a core group of cricketers. A slogged six over long-on in the 1997 ICC Trophy final against Kenya that brought him into the national consciousness.

Bangladesh’s sporting fraternity will remember him as a pioneer. He had made his international debut two years before, when he was the most disciplined cricketer in the country, having come from Rajshahi, the northern headquarter.

Putting in the long hours in training took Mashud, also known as ‘Pilot’, to great heights, including being the first name in the Bangladesh team sheet for more than a decade.

Akram Khan is the first real hero of Bangladesh Cricket. A right handed batsman, the favorite son of Chittagong was one of the mainstays of the Bangladesh team during the 1990s, a period of transition from Associate to Full member nation. He hails from a family where sport was given preference, despite the times. He began his career for Bangladesh Railways, a Chittagong based club that played in the Dhaka leagues.
