Mim and Soham set to wrap up Black
Earlier this year, Dhallywood starlet Bidya Sinha Saha Mim paired up with Tollywood star Soham Chakraborty for the movie Black. This Indo-Bangla production is close to wrapping up the shoot, after completing filming a few final songs this month.
The shoot was initially planned to take place in Srilanka but due to the recent political unrest in the island country, the film’s production team shifted the location to Bangkok. The duo plan to fly to the capital city on October 4 while the rest of the unit are currently waiting to join them. Soon after, the shoot for one of the film’s songs will take place in Bangladesh, marking the film’s official wrap.
Jointly directed by Raja Chanda and Kibria Lipu, the film’s original story is penned by Raja Chanda. Black tells the story of a small-town guy Biltu (played by Soham), who goes on to become a middleman in the underworld. Biltu tries to avoid a girl (played by Bidya), who is in love with him, because he knows how uncertain and dangerous his life is. But destiny, it seems, has other plans.
Bangladeshi actors Amit Hassan and Dwiti are also part of this project. Amit plays a police officer in a negative role and Dwiti plays the wife of a police officer played by Kharaj Mukherjee. Jeet Gannguli and Indraadip Das Gupta will be preparing the film’s musical score.
