2 Bangladeshi youths killed in US road crash

 

Two Bangladeshi students were killed and another injured in a road crash in Wilkinson County of the US South-eastern state of Georgia on Monday night (Aug 14).

The deceased were identified as Imtiaz Ikram Ali, 26 and Prachita Dutta Tumpa, 25. Both of them were PhD students at Charlotte University.

Another youth, Farzana Sultana Tushi sustained critical injuries and undergoing treatment at Georgia hospital.

Quoting deceased’s friends Georgia police said the accident took place around 8:00 pm (local time) at Wilkinson County while Tushi along with Imtiaz Ikram and Tumpa was traveling to her sister’s house in Florida from North Carolina after hearing the death news of her father.
